I just wish it was available on Mac.. Game really reminds me of Bejeweled - In fact it is Bejeweled Twist with the RPG Elements of Square Enix. Its very challenging but you have to go through the tutorial to really understand it , because if you write off this Bejeweled Themed game as a puzzle game with a visual skin slapped on it, you will not win at this game. There have been people who have not been able to run this game. It has to do with people who don't have very high resolution monitors or their monitor can't support certain resolutions. I've posted a workaround in the forum for this that should work for everyone but it will result in a 640x480 resolution.. This was kind of a fun game, I typically play these games on my phone. Simple puzzle games are great.This one just didn't strike with me, but I rarely play gem games anymore.. Didn't like it. The Bejewel-esque fights as you progressed through the game just got longer and tedious and the puzzle solving elements got more tedious as the game droned on. The map controls were unintuitive and seemed like they were designed for a tablet device. Save your money for something better.. Match 3 Game with a Twist. Animation is good. Story is pretty decent. 7/10 Good way to kill some time and unwind.. 1) Fairly blatant port from a non-PC source. It really adores having you press the function keys (F5, F6, etc) for everything.2) It crashes periodically for me.Bad first impression. I'll probably keep giving it a try, but, ehhh....[EDIT]I kept trying. It crashes consistently for me, enough so that I can't complete the first level. I can't even get far enough into the first level to feel like the end is in sight, and what little gameplay I've been able to find is riddled with minor imperfections that make me wonder if this was tested at all.The interface and gameplay just don't feel good, and the program itself doesn't work. Seeking refund, advise anyone interested check the community discussion board before buying.. A variation on the standard Bejewelled Twist game - with RPG elements of levelling up and choosing your army.Starts off easily but about 5 missions in takes a sharp spike in terms of difficulty. Rewarding if you hang on but not one for casual players.Edited 18/06/2016 - After playing a number of other match-3 games like Puzzle Quest I am no longer as approving of Gyromancer. The sudden spike in difficulty in this game means I've never progressed beyond a certain point that is, to my knowledge, fairly early on whereas with Puzzle Quest there is a more linear difficulty curve and plenty to do.I do like the music in this game though. And that's about it I'm afraid.. Recommended ONLY if you LOVED puzzle quest. It's a bit different but still shares a lot of mechanics. Be advised that the game is way harder than any other game of this type. The PC port isn't that great, unfortunately. There are no video options whatsoever and you can't even change the resolution. Graphics are still decent, though.This game can not be played with a 360 controller. Which is fine because the mouse controls work just a great.Overall 6.5\/10
